The DVX bottom is like the later KDX's produced... They are an Awesome hull no doubt... X-Scream makes nice hulls all the way around.... very nice finish work too, however I don't care to ride one in the surf...

Flips on flatwater and rips in the surf with a quick switch of the ride plate... You would prolly want a heavier hull or use weights for big west coast surf... It's fine the way it is for the majority of the East coast... It's just as much fun as my 4.3 freak in the surf... and you can flip it...

I don't see where the judges would have anything to gain... Especially profit wise... That's got to be the best turn out ever... Never seen that many competitors in freestyle.

No... My original post was a general one and was not aimed toward any specific event... I was just making a statement and expressing my opinion... I really didn't think there was that much thought put into the scoring till reading Paul's reply... I wish someone would post a vid of this past...

I would agree... And I'm not saying that I don't think someone should be told they "can't" do something in a comp, just that they shouldn't be scored on the # of tricks alone... or be scored on a trick after doing that trick after the 5th time... The way the rules are, I could go out and do...

When someone does the same trick over and over to achieve a high number of tricks in a routine should not score higher than a more diverse routine with less but harder tricks... It makes for a better, more diverse show... I don't think you should be scored on the same trick after you've pulled...
