chain o'lakes campground is supposedly 7 miles from torch, which isnt bad at all. and then theres whitewater township park (VERY nice campground) on elk lake that isnt all that far either. thats where we usually stay when we go to torch. i think the whole issue with the cops in 12 is what killed...

I was just going to say the same thing Jordan. Even crazier, SAGINAW! We've got a pretty decent sized group here. We mainly ride at Sanford due to it being the nearest lake (can't get myself to play in the river lol). I'll PM you my number if your interested in riding with us @Wiseguy92

I think a competition of some sort is a great idea. Maybe something to at least get people to try some stuff. Trophy to the noob who gets furthest around on a roll, etc. It'd make Wave Rave a hell of a lot more interesting for spectators and it'd give riders some inspiaration to add some tricks...

Matt, give jeff a call (air blair). U rode with him at wavedaze the other weekend. He did the carterB rockered nose conversion and im pretty sure he shortened it as well. Im sure he'd be happy to give u some pointers. Or just buy his for $3500! It even has a sick custom paint job

Nice riding jeff. Im jelous. Im hoping to have a ski built by next spring. We'll have to get together sometime. Ill have to grow a pair before i try lake Superior surf though. I searched lake superior surf on youtube and i can't believe how big the waves get out there. Pretty gnarly...

Im jelous. Thats exactly what i want to build. The rev 440 chassis seems to be the perfect all around sled. Especially for my riding style. I was thinking about the polaris IQr, but seems like itd be a pain to ride in the trails. How hard and how much was the 800 swap if you dont mind me asking?

Crazy.. Just talked to him and he rides to. He said hes down to come ride with us next year. Just have to take a vote to see if everyones ok with throwing in some cash so he will bring his camera. He'll do all the editing and make a video
