You can get a decent puller from Harbor Freight pretty cheap if there is one close by, but make sure you get some stronger washers because I bent mine pretty easy. Took me about 2 days before I finally got mine off. Also make sure you put the nut back in just a few turns so that when it does...

OK couple of responses.... Engine turns freely. Starter was turned by hand. Honestly I never thought to make sure the box was sealed. As obvious as it is I guess I just assumed it was which was a bad idea as stuff hasn't been exaclty how it should be with this blaster. No water came out...

Engine should be free although I will try it when I get home. When I put it away it was running. Battery was just low and in need of a charge. Looks like I'll dig in tomorrow during the rain.

Well I worked the starter free, still not out, but it's spinning freely. I'm gonna pull it all the way out but it maybe it's not the locked up starter. You guys are right pulling this thing out again kinda sucks. Any other ideas?

Serious question, if it's locked is it trashed? This blaster has been my first real project so I'm learning alot especially thanks to you guys here. Would anyone be able to send me to a link on how to test it? I searched once before with no luck for a jetski starter.
