what grit sand paper should i use to sand the 2 part foam when i pour it to get the shape that i want?

hell yea its about time we start to switch it up a lil bit....i hope we have good surf this summer because i wanna see everyone trying to flip and roll and really push ourselves this next year.

well over the weekend i finnaly got to start my winter project, many more man hours to go but excited to be doing it!

i am just going to glass over the foam, i am not going to make a mold of it....if i plan on making a mold i will just copy it when i complete the whole build

it wazs just an idea that way i could get it as smooth as possible before layin on the glass but i think it so be fine once i sand the foam to just put the glass on

do they make a hydraulic trim system for a waveblaster?

i am looking to rocker my waveblaster and i am not sure on what to use, i was told i can use a 2 part foam but i herd it was hard to shape and was messy. i was also told i could use the pink foam block cuz it is easier to shape.....any ideas of what i should use????:scratchchin:

i already have my lines drawn out to pretty much were i want them, only thing i am goin to do is get measurements from my buddies ski since his is already rockered that way my lines are more accurate

i am going to do my own and see how it comes out, i have plenty of spare time at night and on the weekends so time isnt a big deal for me, i wanna do my own just for the experience of learning how to do something as hands on as this is, i know how to glass already but this is going to be pretty...

well guys if everything goes as planned, i will begin the process of chopping the blaster some time this week, i will be cutting the nose and also doing a little something different on the tail section :Banane09::beerchug:

how do you go about renforcing the hood?? is it a project or a quick fix

nevermind on what i said about gel coating the foam now that i remember i seen a video of a guy that was glassing foam and he used some type of what looked like a alluminum tape of some sort that he put over the foam before he started to glass the mold

i agree with you 100% seems like spray foam or 2 part foam is just a complete mess, but on the other hand do you think the glass resin will eat away at the pink foam or is it a safe and better idea to maybe just put a thin layer of gel coat on the foam than start glassing?

what foam should i use?
