Au contraire mon frere, Still have the Octane... she won't give it up. Blew the engine last year after 18 years of service. Putting back together this winter...
Yeah - I saw your post about getting traffic up on the site so I thought I'd do my part!
And no, Glen isn't getting one. He is planning on getting back on the water more this year which is great news!
I was lucky to get my hands on the SJ from Kommander. They were very good to me on that...
Similar to the Squarenose SJ that I'm selling in another thread, this Blaster was slowly rebuilt it from parts I had on hand. Those that know me will attest that I take very good care of my skis and make sure they run well... That being said (Disclaimer) this ski is not perfect! Definitely has...
I have a long history with this ski. Bought it new in 95, raced it until 1998 then sold to a buddy. He had it up until a few years ago... I re-acquired it when he built his newer SJ and eventually his Rickter. It had no engine or pump at the time so I slowly rebuilt it from parts I had on hand...
Looking for ATP V3/V4 replacement tubes. Need to be long enough to accomplish 31" Pivot to pivot.
Anybody by chance have some?
OR - sorry I'm a little out of the loop on this stuff - but does someone in the US distribute/stock their parts? I seem to remember a distributor a long time ago but...
I have a Solas 148 Yam pump - used, built with pre-08 SJ shaft and SS wear ring. - bearings feel a bit rough but was running fine. Probably best to have a look at them. . 95% freshwater use with maybe 2 trips to Pismo/Ocenaside - so no saltwater damage...
no nozzles included
FWIW, I have 2 XFT poles. One on my Circus and one on my T1...
I had to shorten both of them to get them where I wanted. Circus is at 29.5 pivot to pivot, and I think I have the T1 at around 33 - but I would have to check to be sure.
EDIT - might be willing to sell
Great to hear you guys are coming out! It will be a epic trip. You and Frank are some of the OG's on this site (I don't get on here much anymore, but this thread caught my eye).
Anyway, hope to meet up with you somewhere along the way. Our crew from Colorado will be in Oceanside Thursday (11th)...
