I need to know the best way to reshape / finish Polystyrene, the chin pad on my sx650 is way to big so I have set about lowering it, started with a hot knife that worked perfect for the big cuts, but now I need to finish off smooth, can it be sanded or has anyone else got an idea before I spoil...

Well its done now Stripped Extended by 40mm Repainted Refitted Quite happy with the finish , just need to ride it and feel the changes. Also found out I had a broken bolt, managed to extract that and fit all new ones stainless steel. Mick
