    Blaster SB44 Leak

Yes, using the thin black material gasket. It's from an SBT kit you sold me.. ;) I tighten the screws in an X pattern. They are tight - tight enough to where if I go more I'm going to strip the heads on them. The failure mechanism is the same, even if I switch to a new gasket - start to pump...

    Blaster SB44 Leak

Rebuiling an SBN44 for by WB1 with a 61X single carb. Looking at the diagram provided by Mikuni (attached) I have a "late" SBN44, cause I have O-ring and not gaskets. Here's my problem: If I install diaphram 5a and try to measure popoff, I get a massive air leak between the pump body assembly...

    Ebox Questions

Two Ebox questions: 1. Can a CDI box from a '91 650 be used on a '95 701? 2. Who (if anybody) beside Jet Ski Solutions replaces plug wires to the coil?

Blaster 61X - What is this junk?

Started tearing down my engine because I sucked in a reed, and saw this in the water jackets surrounding the exhaust port. 61x out a Blaster. I've got about 7 hrs on the motor, freshwater use only. The material feels chalky, gritty. It's an SBT rebuild...could this be salt coming out from...

760 Blaster 1 + Riva Red or FP Mod?

It seems the issue the FPP is the chamber; theoretically you can buy a manifold and B-pipe from Factory pipe directly when they make a run. At $300 each. Which goes right back to the money point.

760 Blaster 1 + Riva Red or FP Mod?

I've got a 760 from a Waveblaster 2 that I'd like put in my Blaster 1. I plan to run it basically stock, except for a pipe. I've got an existing Riva Red Pipe for the B1, and understand I'm in for either enlarging the manifold holes or helicoils on the block to match it up the 760 block. Here's...

Midshaft Talk - Building, Rebuilding, SN vs. RN, etc.

kevbo: thx. My 96 SN with an old midshaft housing was staying cool, so I thought I had a problem with the new one on the 93. Maybe the 96s seals are slightly looser, as I think it original.

Midshaft Talk - Building, Rebuilding, SN vs. RN, etc.

Just replaced my midshaft housing + bearing on a 93 SN. Stock hull, so set press thru to 20mm, but when I run the ski, the midshaft gets super hot (too hot to touch). I greased the shaft and pumped some thru the zerk fitting. Any ideas?
