If you lean too far over the pump comes out of the water. If you don't lean enough it slides. You want to be where it doesn't do either or slightly slides.

650sx pipe mounted on a Coffman's manifold. I added the extra length to the chamber and did all the standard 650sx mods. I like it. I'm sure a b-pipe is better, but I only have about $180 into it including a new Coffman's manifold off of ebay.

On a side note, does anyone know the diameter/pitch of a mikuni main jet?

To the guys cutting a few inches off the back, are you moving the pump , ride plate, and intake forward?

You will need a manifold for the superjet that adapts to the 650sx exhaust system. A few people use the coffman racing manifold to adopt the stock 650sx exhaust and perform the common 650sx exhaust mods. It is called a "cheater" pipe.

Looks like I can use the bolts from the stock exhaust with a couple of washers. Stainless M10 1.25 botls are expensive.

What thread pitch are the headpipe to manifold bolts on a superjet coffmans exhaust manifold? I know they are M10 diameter, but I can't tell what the thread pitch is. I have the manifold that is like a 650sx manifold that is used to make a superjet cheater pipe with a 650sx headpipe and chamber.

I'd rather just buy them locally so I can get this thing together over the long weekend, but let me know how much shipped to 48186 and I'll take them as a plan B.

I am working on putting my 1987 650sx together and noticed that I don't have a stinger to waterbox exhaust hose. Is there any reason I can't just use some radiator hose? If radiator hose works, I need to know how long the hose from the stinger to the aluminum 90 degree fitting is. Looking...

I have access to a 650TS to get parts for my 650sx. Other than the engine, intake, exhaust manifold, battery, pump assembly, and kill switch do any other parts interchange? I saw in another thread that the ride plates and intake grates don't interchange. Does the exhaust pipe swap over?
