Switching race fuel from C12 to VP110

I've depleted my 54 gallon drum of VP-C12 fuel, and just picked up a replacement 54 gallon drum of VP110. I got the VP110 drum for much MUCH less than a drum of C12. As far as I understand the octane ratting is only 1~2 points difference and I know folks run either. Does anyone know if I...

Fire extinguisher recall from Kidde may mean - NO MORE TICKETS!!!!!

Thats not a great solution either. The extinguisher could explode above 120F. As stated on the side of the extinguisher, must stay between -40F and 120F. It might get too hot under the hood. Also how would anyone ever be able to access it while its sealed under there? We're stuck between...

Fire extinguisher recall from Kidde may mean - NO MORE TICKETS!!!!!

I also got my replacement Kidde units, and they are 3/8" larger in diameter. Also the handle extends out as well making it even more impossible to fit in any ski fire extinguisher holder.

Fire extinguisher recall from Kidde may mean - NO MORE TICKETS!!!!!

They send you a new one first. I'm not sure if they are going to want my old ones back though.

Fire extinguisher recall from Kidde may mean - NO MORE TICKETS!!!!!

So, Kidde, the main company who makes all fire extinguishers world-wide, recently recalled about 50 years worth of fire extinguishers with plastic handles. This INCLUDES most Jetski craft extinguishers...

    carb question - mukini

If its dribbling then you may have a bad anti-syphon valve - its the little plastic 'flap' on the JET side of the carb underneath the 'moon' shaped piece attacked by one Phillips screw. Also pop off may be different between the two carbs so check that as well.

Returf, but want to widen the tray first

So the ergonomics of my ski are a bit tight. I came from a SuperFreak with had all the room in the world - too much in fact - and now I would like a wider tray on this smaller/lighter ski. Currently my feet angle-in a bit and so a straight fit seems to be possible if I widen the back part of...

    61x 735cc B-pipe jetting question for 46mm carbs

That's for a single SBN46. If you want to upgrade, I suggest going to like a single 48 or 49. I'd suggest staying AWAY from dual carbs with a 61x bottom end. 46 or bigger on a ported 61x should hit hard enough!
