the way you bolted it may have caused the break. because the plastic piece of the pole can still flex in the braket and put all the strain on the adhesive. you should have used bolts with nyloc nuts on the inside. so instead of using 2 bolts you should have used 4. when you bolt stuff it´s not...

i don´t have an answer to your question. but there will probobly be more water intrusion with the drain holes blocked. if you block the front holes you need drain holes in the back. otherwise you need to do a backflip to drain the hood :)

i will probobly do a duct tape top deck conversion kit. will come in white black and regular silver. pro for duct vs glas. is that they are EZ fixed when cracked.:bigok:
