I had water leak out though that same spot. Had to grind out area and tig weld it. JB weld did not work for the quick fix and had to pull the head to do it right. Still working fine on the ski in the avtar pic.

Your not going to like my aswer. You have created a spot for moister to collect behind the gable fascia. The gable fascia needs to be cut above the OSB with room for your roofing material to go underneath for water run off. There should not be a notch in the OSB. This will make it easier to do...
