Have you tested the igniter? You can ohm out the secondary circuit on these btw. Check for continuity between the spark plug boot & ground.

I have a couple cylinders if you need one.

If you are getting intermittent spark, check for water inside the flywheel cover. If there's water, the stator & flywheel magnet contacts are probably rusted. What have you ohmed out so far?

Thats a great idea for that fix! Alot of guys have had issues with this gear.

The SBN38 is well worth it. The stock BN 34 chokes the 300 out.

Correct plug is a BR7ES. You can test the stator before pulling it all apart to see if somethings wrong. Ohm out black & red wires, see if your getting continuity.

Yes, that ebox will work. Stator is toast. Look around, you should be able to find one for a decent price.

That thing is bone stock. Still has the oil injection hooked up. Worth nowhere near $650. I would pay $2-300 tops. I can usually pickup a mint js300 or 300sx for under $200, and sometimes free!
