Does anyone know what the voltage output is supposed to be on superjets? I know car alternators typically put out around 14 volts. Is that similar for superjets? Anyone ever test a new superjet with a voltage meter at idle?

it's dual carb. I really don't know anything about SJ's or tuning. I've been reading as much as I can, but don't really feel that comfortable turning a ski.

I recently purchased a modified superjet, msd, b pipe, zero flywheel, ada head. I'm curious if there's any some what local members who are good at tuning modified superjets that could tune or show me how to tune the ski. It's seems to run pretty good imo, but I have nothing to compare it...

I just bought a modded up superjet, full msd, b pipe, new crank, pistons, reeds, girdled head, compression 175, etc. all the goodies. It seems to run good, but I've never rode a stock sj 701 for comparison. I personally think it's hard to start. Is there a key to starting modded...

thanks for both replies, I'm going to go test drive it, it's also got a B-pipe exhaust, which seems to be a preferred mod, but I believe it has a stock impeller and from what I read, that's not a very good impeller. So, when test driving the ski, are there any typical things you guys look...
