Those bmx style helmets don't give any protection to the face. You can still break your nose, bust a lip, knock out teeth!!!! I think these Lacrosse helmets look cool, and you can't beat the protection they offer.

For anyone looking for full face protection, I highly recomend the Cascade CPX Lacrosse helmet. I just rode with it for the first time, and I love this helmet already. It is very light, good vision and the water drains out quickly. Also, the foam doesn't seem to hold the water. I'm going...
