Hi. Im making a C.A.T.S, and im almoust done with it, and i see now that the exit nozzle is gona stick out maybe 3-5cm longer that stock. I get pic when im done with it. What effects will this have on the handeling?

I got the top of the sleeves decked, and now both are just sitting 0.05mm above, tried to press them further down with no result.

Hi. My sleeves are sitting above the cylinder deck 0.05mm on the first and 0.15mm on the other. I have a O-ring head. Is this a problem? 61x cylinder.

So SBT crank is the way to go then? So how does the SBT crank work then, if i only need a crank from them and not a whole engine. Looking at theyr page, they sell the crank on a core exchange basis. Do i send in my old crank, and get a rebuild in return, and pay 200$ + shipping? And is there...

I have the tools and experience needed to do the job, i just need a deccent deal on the bearings.

Thats right, thought i save some money by doing it myselfe, but if i dont find a good deal on some bearings, ill guess it will cost more by doing so...

Hi. Im rebuilding my engine and need new bearings for my crankshaft and con rod bearings. So where can i find a full set of bearings that dosent cost more and a rebuilt crank? I had no idea they where so expensive :S

Ok, thanks for pointing that out for me. The old pistons were wiseco, and i dont see any reason why to not use wiseco again, so i guess ill be using forged.

I have the sleeves removed from the engine now, so ill get them machined in a lathe. Whats the piston clearance? i have read 0.08mm (0.003") is that correct?

i think the sleeves allready have been bore up, whats the min wall thickness in the sleeves? But if thats possible then ill rather do that.

So the block and sleeve is stock size? Is it worth boring up the block and drop in a bigger sleeve? Sorry for inactivety, been working on some other project.
