Looks like my protect head will be shot too since the domes are not removable. I have heard of milling the stock head for a little more compression is that relatively safe to do or am I better off looking for another aftermarket head?
Thanks for the info, just read that whole thread. Due to the abundance of pieces of metal visible in the cylinder if I were to take on the task myself, when I disassemble I will be looking for pieces of metal down in the crankcase right???

I did not fully replace the small filters in the carb, but I did clean them out as they had some sand in them.
