Im 6’3” so I have long arms. Never bothered me but I do hear people have issues with that.

Something is up with the steering system. You should be able to use the center bolt/nut to achieve what you want. I have mine set tight (maybe too tight) but it’s hard to notice when the ski is under thrust.

OVP and backdated cable is my preference. Good call on the mats!

Not a good design. Probably done for weight and cost of manufacturing savings. I wonder if racing sanctioning bodies will eventually allow A/M hoods.
