I have used pipe insulation. Not the fiber glass but the foam type. Works well.

Just picked up a 1990 650SX (single carb). It has been in storage for 4 yrs. Runs well. However, everytime the pump comes out of the water and get some air in it the engine will bog and then stall. one or two pumps on the primer and it fires right back up. Any ideas? I Checked & cleaned the...
