i needed a bolt for my SN with a RN pole on it and just about fell over when the 14mm factory size bolt was $35+. i drilled out the pole bracket and bushings and used a 5/8" grade 8 bolt from the local hardware store.
a few of the pioneers of the wingsuit world are gone. skydiving is fairly dangerous. skydiving in a straight-jacket is more dangerous. BASE jumping in a straight-jacket is very dangerous. :)
yeah...they are cool. i fly a fairly old suit. this is an S3 and I can get my vertical speed down to around 60mph. that translates into a rough forward speed of ~60mph. turns a 60sec. skydive into a 2min flight. those gopro cams do capture good quality footage.
better yet, go get a stick of parafin wax from the the hardware store and stab it on the hot screws you just hit with a torch. wax will be sucked into the threads and BLAMMO! free screws. works everytime on 200k+ mile engine block plugs.
