AM hulls > stock hulls. Lighter is better, and that 2nd hull looks like a nice hull to ride. Looks familiar, cant put my finger on the name of it though
Hey whats up stang, any chance of you or anyone posting a video of how people 1-man these on the hauler? I saw a guy struggle with one at Rainbow res in Windsor a few weeks ago so I helped him out. I'm thinking of buying one and hope I can use it before snow falls. Do you have to register these?
Did you ever get those vent tubes for your hood? To see if its a reed problem, I'm guessing you have to remove the manifold and visually inspect the reeds to find any damage. It seems to me that a reed problem would happen during any throttling and not just after stabs. If stabs = water in hull...
You should open your top end and electrical box. I wouldn't be surprised you find some goodies if the 'arm ripping' you're getting is as hard as you say it is.

It's the battery; there's not enough voltage to open the solenoid. Buy a new one, then give it a go. If it still does 'nothing', test the solenoid and starter.
I had the same exact problem after I rebuilt my carbs. Turned out that I damaged the diaphragm when installing and it would not hold fuel pressure. Only ran when I had a full tank, then it would cut out towards half tank.
