tips for adjusting the popoff pressure

Im assuming you are asking about pop-off pressure due to some kind of performance issue. I just want to mention, even though you are specifically asking about adjusting pop-off pressure it is important to make sure your fuel system is holding pressure and does not have any leaks. It’s also very...

    Apache Powersports

Thanks for posting this type of stuff, I don’t have any social media and never have. So it’s great to be updated with these types of posts, I’m sure there are others that will benefit from this type of posting as well! Also, maybe this new LSP will be lighting a fire under some of the other...

    Mid-Shaft Alignment/ shimming

I’d say run them where they are if it appears to be factory, but even if you took them out you’re gonna be fine. Aligning the pump to the best of your ability is the important part. But as Jetmaniac said, sealing the midshaft housing against the bulkhead is another important step. Also know that...

Thrust Shorty Steering / RSKI Steering Pad

Funny you ask, I drilled the handlepole for it but never actually rode the ski with it on haha I only ever used stock steering on my SN because I didn’t modify the shape of the hull. I didn’t think I ever needed it with that but short or 0 degree steering on an AM hull is a must!

    Mid-Shaft Alignment/ shimming

I’ve thought about this many, many times. I’m a sucker for over complicating things and I can tell you with confidence, leave it alone haha. Unfortunately I can’t tell you why Yamaha used bulkhead shims but unless you’re facing some really bad alignment, you shouldn’t need them. Just align the...

    Uneven Tire Wear

I do have one of those magnetic angle gauges! And I also have a 20ton shop press so that could be an option to rebend it.. unfortunately I do not weld or have access to a person who does. The axle itself is square 1-1/2” tubing. I spent the axle is bent but the stubs are more likely. Since I...

    Uneven Tire Wear

Well about 800, I drove to Wilmington and back in October. Including the driving around while I was there, it was about 800 miles… didn’t even get to ride either :( surf was FLAT, and I mean 0.

    Uneven Tire Wear

My concern is that now it’s “bent” it’s just gonna keep bending in whichever direction I place it. Supposedly trailer axles like this have 1 degree of camber and if that’s been bent, flipping the axle will only bend it back quickly and I’ll be in the same position. I just got some bushings for...

The springs are fine, it’s the plastic bushing inside that’s worn
