Why so? Mikuni manual says the adjustment maxes out at 3.0 turns

Got the mods completed. Went down to Elephant Butte NM on Sunday to do some tuning. Elevation is 4,300. Ended up replacing N/S to 2.0 in order to achieve pop off pressure of 18psi with 65gr springs. High and low screws indeed up being set at 2.25 turns out. I might end up backing the low speed...

I am targeting a 18psi pop off. I put 65g springs in. I'm registering 22-25 psi. Only way to drop the psi lower is to increase N/S, correct?

Does anyone know FOR CERTAIN what size the needle seats are in the stock Mikuni 38's (2015 model)? Trying to adjust carb pop off and need to upsize one size in needle seat

Thx for clarification on carb screws. It's my understanding carb tuning can get scientific. Assuming my stock mikuni is with a 2.0 N/S?? Planning on adjusting pop off to 18. What elevation are you riding? I'm looking for all around riding. Prob some buoy courses ect.

So were the adjustment screws turned out from a baseline of completely closed, or from a baseline of where the factory set them?

I called impros and talked to them about the right impeller for my situation. They suggested the 10/16 hooker. I replied that I thought the hooker was for free ride, of which i'm not interested. He said correct, but running the 10/16 should give me good results. What psi do your 31cc domes...
