I’m just curious, and since I’ve only ever been to the Pismo freerides, I don’t have a lot of knowledge to go off of. But why is it that the Daytona freeride has a bunch of sponsors, yet you still have to sign up and pay to ride? Is it because of beach rules or something?

Anytime I have any scoring on a cylinder or piston that can catch a fingernail, I always go up a bore size and new pistons. It might not always be necessary, but it’s A lot cheaper to spend the money on machining and new pistons than replacing the whole engine
