The tygon lines I have used hardened too.

I have had the same tygon line on two different skis for going on 5 seasons now. Certain pieces of it have hardened slightly but no where near the extent that would lead to cracking or sealing issues. I don't see the need to replace them anytime soon.

I was wondering how long it would be before threads about this popped up. If it looks like poop... and smells like poop... then that :):):):) is poop. One question tho, why is this not in the negative feedback forum? This thread is a little incognito to really get the message out about this garbage.

This isn't in the neg section because thats not reason for posting it. The reason for posting this is simply so fellow members here could have the info needed to make a good decision, I realized this as being one of those bandwagon topics , I also realize many people here have this fuel line on their skis, I did not want this thread to turn into a three ring circus.

It can't be a circus without Gil riding on a unicycle. :lmao:

I have about 200 gallons of Avgas mix through my clear Fuellines.biz lines. They look great so far. Maybe a little bit of hardening.

Honestly I can only attest to the purple fuel lines and their use with 10% Ethanol fuels, different colored lines used with different fuels may be absolutely ok, but then the grey tempo marine fuel lines used by Seadoo from 1994-2003 are just fine also as long as they are not used with 10% Ethanol fuels , like I said its an info thread , I posted it where I thought it would do the most good.

I had no idea you could buy OEM fuel line in uncut lengths. I won't run anything else either. Can anyone tell me what the difference is between the grey/green fuel line and the green/blue line Yamaha uses for the vent lines and battery vent, etc. The walls feel much softer on the green/ blue line.

WITH ALL DO RESPECT.... This product is horrible...I've had the same issues with my "new" Fuellines.biz(or what ever) Fuel lines..... I think anyone who has ever purchased these lines deserves a refund! I would also like to see where the specifications they have listed about these lines comes from, because their products must be false advertised!

Sorry need to vent.

I personally have not.... $30 isn't even worth the aggravation to me honestly lol There kinda a PITA to change i guess but what ever. Just not worth it but as far as I am concerned they will get no business from me ever again.

Years ago we used to run these type of lines , they usually lasted about a year before they were hard and brittle, I cannot swear to it because I am not a chemist but I believe these are the same old line they have been selling for years, they look the same and they work the same. Bottom line, if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck and quacks like a duck I call it a duck.

There was a specific part number (forgot what it was) for the gray Tempo fuel lines that killed a bunch of Sea-Doos. That was way before we had any Ethanol in fuel.

Maybe on boats, but to the best of my knowledge There was never a bulletin on the tempo lines till after the ethanol was in the fuel. I have access to a database with the Seadoo bullitens and I have never seen it in there. At any rate that is not the issue here Tempo never claimed their fuel lines were Ethanol compatable.

I was talking about the 1998-2000 Tempo lines (gray in color) that destroyed a lot of 951 Rotax engines.
I don't believe there ever was a bulletin on them.
