I am also looking for a decent aftermarket impeller for the stock pump. I have a kawi pump sitting on the bench waiting so I don't want to drop too much $.

Went ahead and ordered a Skat swirl 18/23 from impros. I've been inquiring about a used fx1 impeller for a week on here, pwc, ebay, clist, etc......... If there are plenty around I can't seem to find them. Looks like I'll have a nice little paper weight when I get around to this kaw pump swap.

Well I installed the new impeller and I'm not very pleased so far. When I pin the throttle it spins a bit. I had much better hook up with my stock cast aluminum. The pump however, seems to stay loaded better but it's not worth what I've lost. Top speed has also been compromised which i expected. I'm aggravated. Rolling up to the face of a nice wake and not having any thrust is like having a chic spread eagle on your bed and not being able to get it up. Any suggestions?

Here's my setup
94 fx-1
701 w/ milled head
protec pipe
44SBN
protec grate
shredmaster plate
skat swirl 18/23 grrr

**The local pwc guru rode my ski and said he felt like the power curve was bit too steep with the protec pipe and that I was maybe running a bit too lean causing it to hit all at once. He suggested I fatten it up to smooth out the curve..... ?? While he was on my ski I rode his FX1 with a 760, b-pipe... holy $hat that was nice!

Pitch is unknown, but I'm sure it's a topend pitch, as the ski was gps'ed at 51 MPH

It still has Daytona sand in it from 09, I was so unhappy with it in surf that I never used it again. Kawi 140 mm Pump is now installed in mine. It's better, but still too tall of a pitch. Stator vanes in 122 pump are fair ( couple of small chips) prop in good condition, shaft splines are in good condition as well.

If you are looking for top speed then This might be the one for you. If you are looking for bottom, good luck with a 122 mm pump with any prop.

a 122 can handle power if on glass water . keep head up with a modded sxr with my 771 and the stock 122 (20/25 prop) . ONLY on glass water.

Better switch for a kawi pump you won't regret it.

I plan on doing that in the near future. The prop change would be a intermediate change, which is why I am trying to get a prop cheap.
