i spend over 2 hours looking for this thread
but i didn't find it
was a guy which home made vin or HIN PLATES ALUMINIUM
same as yamaha plates
"You just give him the serial number and he made one "

In the US, it's illegal to make any kind of alteration, at all, to the HIN/plates without specific written permission from the Commandant of the US Coast Guard, or something like that.

So, that's why you can't find that thread on here.

That was my thread and I just want to clarify that I have applied for new State Issued HIN numbers for my aftermarket hull and am not advertising making replacements for anyone. I was simply asking for good sources to have the new tags made up.

There was a board member who offered such services but it was not me.

he had post some pictures and the plates was the same " yama " "kaw "
