im oficially an addict ......

this sport is more addicting than i ever thought it would be when i first started.

in the summer i think i spend 75-80% of my money on this.

(only 19 with 2 jobs full time student)


but i have to say, it is totally worth it!!
 
yes me2. every penny i get goes on my ski. Ive spent over $500 in parts in the last month getting ready for summer, but the worst part is I dont have a job... (only 15, cant get one yet) and this is all my birthday\christmas money from saving!

haha same situation here...16 and no job....hopefully ill have one this summer tho so ill have cash to blow when next winter.

I've donated plasma before to support my off shore fishing and ski habits. I am now about to be in the P bank again once I'm unemployed this summer. You know your broke when your taking the 1 gallon weed whacker gas tank to the ramps instead of you normal 5 gallon one, hahah. But I've been on deployment to the Indian Ocean since last June and my ski is coming together now. I kinda had to "tell" my wife I was doing it, even if I had to get all Professor Turgeson on her.


Just remember, before you buy anything... Put up a WTB add here on the X, I haven't bought 1 new part yet from a big time dealer. I've saved a ton of loot on parts.

I know the feeling. I didn't do anything all winter so that I could save up money and get ready for spring/summer to be here. I bought a new ski at the end of last season and have been looking at it in the basement all winter wanting to ride.

I order 300$ in parts last week to get my X2 up and ready for the season too.

If you guys are addicted at your age, just wait 15-20 more years from now, lol. I don't even want to think about adding up all the money I have "invested" in jetskis over the years. The fuel bill alone would be staggering and it would be peanuts compared to the parts list.
