We got a guy at work (Steven aka Fail-O who is a future member of the x!)into the world of stand-ups. He rode with us Sunday and bought a superjet yesterday! Gotta say tho, he gt the best craigslist deal I have ever heard of. He got a complete '91 650sj with protec pipe, intake grate and ride plate, umi 0* bars, and primer. Any guess as to how much he got it for? (Dustin don't say anything lol)

Update: Got everything sanded down and primed today at work. I brought the hood and nose piece home to paint and got it painted. Turned out pretty good for a rattle can! But tomorrow morning i am gonna sand the primer on the hull/pole and get it painted and reassembled, and then start mounting stuff back in and hope she fires up! We pulled the plugs out of it and the motor spins smooth with no weird noises or grinds by hand, and when the plugs are in the motor has great compression where its hard to turn over by hand. (No actual compression test yet) We are just hoping the stator is good on this sucker....

Question: We got a ebox out of a 61x to put into this ski, it has a riva adjustable rev limiter or something in it? Anyone know what we should adjust this to?

Got the ski running tonight and its sounds amazing, sounds flawless actually! Hopefully it will run in the water tomorrow, i will let you guys know how it goes! Within one week, bought, stripped, painted, reassembles, put together, fired, and in the lake in 6 days! Thats how we do.

Hell yeah!! :Banane35::brap:

ski ran great today! Only problem was a pump to hull gasket, but dustinn88 hooked it up with one from a part out. Ski ran great through a tank and a half of gas! Project done. Until fail-o decides he wants more power (which is only a matter of time!) ;)
