the beasty b1 project

this is my beasty project i got going,
started with a 200 dollar hull picked up a raider for dirt cheap practically free with a running T in it and a single carb, added a west coast head, tdr reeds, and a wet jet pipe,

well plans changed got a killer deal on a BUILT superjet

so now the ski has
BUILT race ported 62T(not sure if its still a 701 have not pulled head yet)
riva girdle head
dual protec intake (ported)
dual 46mm buckshots
factory b pipe w/mod chamber (has the small manifold hole to)
put stock electronics back on it casue i actually want to ride it all day
ported pump
15/19 solas prop
pjs ride plate
R&D intake grate
rear exhaust
custom waterbox

HULL
defoamed in front and rr
2 layers of 6 oz carbon on inside in front
2 layers on back ( not completely done yet)
and made a bulge on dr side to clear wet jet pipe which i did not end up using but it make a lot more room to work with,
shaved oil level hole also,
leaving off front nose piece


well its all put together well mostly lol have a few things in the mail, but im working out the kinks first then its getting painted and camo turf,


got to ride it with a stock prop and its retarted fast so i cant wait to get it in the water tomorrow and hopefully i get my gps in the mail tomorrow also,

hope i can get it over 65+ when i get it tuned and proped properly.
its got stupid power i bet its over 130+ but ill see tomorrow if the prop works decent, gonna race my buddys aquatracks

The only way that thing will ever hit 65 is on the trailer, and that is not meant as a put down on the original poster. I don't know of any blaster in the world that actually hit 65 on the gun. The BEST mod race blasters are 61-62 with full powervalve motors, set back mags, TL ignitions and built by the best in the world - Tim Judge.

A 'good' 62t ported blaster with stock (non TL) ignition and b pipe will do 55-57 depending on the tune. If you get more than that, you have done something.

its not rigged at all its just ugly right now, the pissers are rigged cause the fittings did not come in yet, other than that its not rigged at all, im just working oout the kinks and the motor is coming back out and the engine bay is getting painted and its getting stripped and painted, motor will get sandblasted, chamber will get polished,
and if it wont do 65 im gonna get as close as possible, ill see what she does tonight i gues if my gps comes in tonight

Yeah I dont see any riggage myself (asside from the pissers). Just a project ski. Not all of us are lucky enough to have the funds to do everything at once or buy the "right" parts. We have to use what we have or have access to and make that work. This ski is a sweet combination of parts and wicked fast. Blake I thought of something on the way home, try putting the batt. and the bilge on the far right to act as a counter weight. That will probably balance it out then. Thanks for letting me rip it a bit.
 
yeahhh man im soo freaking happy with it right now, im done for a bit no more buying parts besides a nossle which that raider one will deff not work its wayy to big lol

on another note it deff not gonna do 65 lol but i deff can get it near 60, its does 50 right now and gets there in 2 seconds, blowing through a 15/19, its got a nasty hole shot but up top still spinning it,

but im happy as :):):):) right now so im done for a bit besides making it look nicer and painiting it
 
its becasue i was gonna use a wet jet pipe on another motor then i got this beast and i had already did the carbon work, so its staying plus it makes for a lot more room to work with
