Rickter or Cyclones?

What do you guys think? I have never seen either in person. Which one has a better feel? Is one more durable that the other? I dont want to go with some of the bigger holds likes the revs cuz I know its a bit more of a pain to install.......this being my first. Any input would help.


Any input on which would better install on an SXR? Assuming there would be no difference.

From what I understood when I purchased mine were that the heel area in the Rickters gradually tapers into the deepest part of the footwell, where as the Cyclones have a steeper taper.

I've got Rickters in one that I didn't install and WCF in the other that I did install. (and paid $150 for btw)

The WCF holds are much better and were easier to install.

I agree, I have used 3 different holds and you can't go wrong with the WCF's, I wish I had a set in mine.

I hated my cyclones they were to small! I ripped them out for x-metals holds

A bigger foothold adds like twenty minutes extra to your install time, do It right the first time and get a big hold and put some 21mm foam in there

Not right now, found out I had wet foam so my tray is cut apart

what size footdo you guys have? i wear an 11 and my cyclones and i added foam in them to make them tighter. i think theyre great, granted they are the only holds ive ever used

I have size 12 feet and I was running really thin foam and still found my feet didn't fit
