I'v been trying to do some research and checking various p/v cylinders out. Xmetal has the stock stroke 88+ cylinder, and it looks like their other cylinders require a 8+ stroke. On Dasa's website they have the 85mm available in a 5mm, but looks like the 88+ is only available in 6+ strokes.
Is it possible to get a cylinder set up for +5mm crank, and 88+ bore from anyone? Is it possible to buy a cylinder, such as the lamey 88 bore with +6stroke and have it machined to accept a +5mm crank or maybe even a +4mm crank? Or is it possible to add a stroker to the xmetal 865 kit?
Reason I ask, I can get a stroker crank for extremely cheap from a buddy, he said he thinks its a +5, but it might be a +4. So since its cheap id like to run it. And if I can i'd like to run 88+ bore to get around 900cc.
Yeah I know, I should call them directly, but dont really want to until im positive what crank I have, and im ready to buy..
Thanks!
