I got this Skat Trac impeller this fall and plan to put it on my 750 sx, not ever working on this pump, I am unsure of the seal that I need on the nose of the impeller ( see pic ) . I went to kawasaki today and this is the part they said I needed, but after getting it home, it is a bit too wide to fit where im guessing it should go. I got a jet pump rebuild kit and there is no seal in there which I was hoping. Is there a special Skat Trac seal I need and if so where the hell do I get it, I cant seem to find it anywhere.

Thanks guys

You should be able to just take the seal out of that and use that. Did you buy that off of ebay? Looks like the one I purchased and made him give me my money back:D

Thats an OEM prop seal. They dont fit skat or solas props without machining. The skat prop shown uses an O-ring for a seal. It does a piss poor job of keeping water out, it also tends to shift out of position on fast skis. Its very important that the splines are clean and greased if they are to last. The best seal that I have found was a short piece of hose that I sanded to fit tightly. A drop of superglue held it in place.

thanks for the info, So I will make sure I grease the hell out of the shaft splines before it all goes together. What kind of hose did you use??
