Is a SJ top deck w/Polaris crank cases legal?

Is a SJ top deck with a polaris motor legal to use in freestyle comp?

I've been told that Malone's top decks are very similar to the Octane because the crank cases need to match the top deck to be legal.

If this is true, a SuperJet with a Polaris motor would not be legal to use in competition.

Any thoughts?

At Malone's level, I think they should be allowed to run anything up to a certain displacement, which is kinda the way it is.

With all the power that you can get out of a polaris and with CGracing putting one in a SJ for the build off, I'm sure some peeps have contemplated the idea.

I have a extra polaris motor and have been wanting to buy a SJ hull. I know I wouldn't want to spend the time and money if there are people out there that would protest it in competition. That's why I asked. But then again, I'm usually in last place or close to it, so I guess it wouldn't matter so much for me. It might matter for someone else though. Especally if somone bought one of those big bore stroker kits. They're kinda pricey.:bigeyes:
