x-2 ski for donation

I have been kicking around the idea of a donation ski for a few monthes now and i have decided to do it. i have an x-2 hull that had been sitting since july at the lake house, after purchasing my SJ, i realized i almost liked the build more than the riding so now i am here to build the ski again. I will auction the ski at the daytona free ride or ebay... all procedes are to go to a charity. Saint Judes maybe? If you have any 650 sx parts you want to donate your screen name or buisness name/sticker will be airbrushed on the side of the ski. here are a few pictures of the ski in its current state:)

I already lowered the hood and front of the ski 2 inches. also chopped off 1.5 inches from the back. should i re-inforce while the ski is stripped?

I have a lot of 550 parts i will trade for 650 parts for the donation ski! let me know! thanks for the help!

(If you are auctioning @ daytona) and the money is going to the lifeguards who let us have the ride there.... I'd def toss in some parts.

Post up what you need, I have everything to build a few X2's.

X2. I'm sure that will have to be part of the deal to do it in Daytona, and Ill be glad to contribute anything I have. Tons of X2 parts laying around.

thanks guys. for now it looks like i will be picking up a 750ss complete and running.

i am in need of a steering set up and turf. i'll also be donating my carbonfiber seat. i hope we can turf the rails to. also looking for footstraps.

send me a list of what you need i have 2 x2s that are getting motor swaps. one is getting 650 to 750 swap and one is getting 650 to 701 yamaha.

alright. sanoman is hooking me up with a stock ski that needs work, so i will just do all of the body mods to that ski assuming its condition is better than the one posted. above... chop the hull down and do dual reer exhaust. I have the stock stuff covered. just need after market things like high compression head, after market carb, steering and exhaust? i know this is a lot but if you can donate it that would be great.

The 550 hull posted above is going to sanoman in exchange for the x-2! Thanks again sanoman!

Today i was able to meet up with sanoman and make the trade!!! i should have pics up tonight. Sanoman's hull is in 10,000x better condition than mine so his will be getting the chop treatment:p lowering the hood, shortening overall length a few inches.

Sanoman- what carb is in it now? is it stock? it doesn't look stock. I had a SBN 44 in my old x-2 and it was very easy to tune. Also, thanks for leaving the bilge pump and billet aluminum bilge outlet!

Sanoman is a great guy. he hooked me up with Three extra heads that were milled to the max. I will trade heads for things on the wanted list. I know a lot of those things are valuable but i thought i would give it a try. also have a 550 engine that needs new rings that i would trade for a Pipe or carb set up for this boat...
