Slapped some new stickers on...

Started ripping off the stickers today and putting my own on.

Made them myself on the Gerber, you can kinda see the theme. Ive been riding since Aug. without any numbers on. What'ya think? You cant really tell in the pic but the stickers actually shine like chrome. Any thoughts on what I should do on the back of the ski, in place of the other stocker stickers?

Im gonna go with ripping off the plastic bumpers, rail caps and re-turf everything with the snow camo so...

looks sharp

the snow camo gets dirty very easy if you ride in nasty water. still have it in my tray on my sj

i ride in the marshes here and anyone with a white ski ends up brown by the end of the ride. when i rip up my tray to refoam this winter im going to switch to black turf in the tray.

It looks great!! When removing the side molding, you can just replace it with 1 to 1.5" automotive adhesive trim. I believe it is the same stuff that TBM sells and is made by 3M. It makes a super clean look on your ski and actually improves the handling. Here is a pic with it on mine. The front bumper is still installed but the back corner bumpers are gone. I can post better pics if you want.

I was thinking of just getting rid of them all together and just turfing the rails. I think it will be a bit lighter and should look pretty good too.

I would like to see some more pics of the trim you got there though. That is a a hell of a set up for a camera!

I run 3m automotive trim on my skis, I think it looks much better than stock and turf, and is more durable than turf. I would recommend it for sure.

The Gerber is a vinyl cutter, which model do you have? How much have you payed for it? I have been thinking of getting a vinyl cutter myself. Sorry to threadjack, just curious! Is it easy to use?

Quite honestly I dont know what model it is. Its at work. We have a few different machines. One that uses the colored film rolls to print pictures, one for the 11.5" wide rolls and one that is about 3' long for posters. Purchasing any one of these would definitely be out of my price range for home use. There are various programs you can use depending on what set up you have. There are some super easy ones that I have seen that operate pretty much like microsoft paint.......on the other hand they can be pretty tricky depending on how much you want to get into it.

I would say its pretty much like 2D CNC when creating your own designs. I get guys in the shop to help me. I just set it up on the machine, select my design and export it. I pick up what I can just enough to get it done.

Your ski looks nice, I was thinking about the same type of Airforce theme. Can you send me some decal measurments so I can got some made? Also, did/do you ever get any heat from the police about the location of your Reg # and sticker?? I ride in Toms River area, the marine police seem to leave us alone, I only got stopped once.
