I dont like going over 83mm
Have never seen a 83.5mm piston before , didnt know they were available in that size

Why is everyone so hell bent on getting the biggest cc out of there engine, its not an efficient way to get more power
People will sell you big bore engines etc because thats what the market is after but it doesn't make sense going massive bore on an engine that has 118mm bore centers

Yes at 83mm they will go better than a stock 81mm bore
but then your not putting in a big bore sleeve that gets into the transfer port volume with a 83mm bore
I dont see the point in going for big bore sleeves when you start reducing transfer port volume
I spend alot of time on my port jobs for customers in bringing up transfer flow and dont wish to ruin it by encrouching on the transfer port volume
