wal mart sells a product called 'airplane remover'.

Spray it on-let it set 15 min-rinse w/water, scrape finish off w/plastic putty scraper. If necc-repeat a 2nd time. Super easy-WEAR rubber gloves while doing it. (product will remove your finger prints) lol

I have thought about stripping mine and buffing it up. It might be one of those projects that sounds like a good idea and then halfway through you wonder why you started. I tend to do that a lot.

go to eastwood.com and they sell powdercoat stripper, I was using mine today because I welded something and powdercoated it and found out that i welded it on the wrong side.

I did this exact thing for the Mason Waddle boat! I used my glass bead cabinet then hand sanded it with 220 grit sandpaper then polished it. It was time consuming, a chemical stripper might be better the glass bead's put a small profile on the chamber.

Dangit! I forgot to try liquid crystal draino. I GOTTA try that. Thanks TOR*P*DO. Missed the powdercoater today. Try again tomorrow. I'm still trying the draino first though. Thanks for the offer stanton. I'm going to try leaving this one raw.

Tal-strip, available at autoparts stores. Before and after pics. The after was polished. Tal-strip took almost all the factory coating off. Just had to hit the weld areas with a wire brush to finish removing.

Stanton, that's a good price there.
