I got about 1 tank full before my NGK plug ceramic broke loose from the metal. What do you guys use?

loose domes may cause the insulator to break (vibration)Mine was popping up and down, u could hear compression getting by it, I'm sure it has something to do with the compression and high vibration of my motor
This was a BR8ES with the solid top. The porcelan center came loose from the metal outermost part. Weirdest failure I have seen. I guess I'll carry extras with me

I've had that happen, as well.
Turned out to be deto.
I have seen plenty of engines let go on copper plugs. Broken a few from detonation, but never one like Aaron broke today. The ceramic was in one piece moving up and down in the metal body. Detonation will cause much higher cylinder pressures than turbocharging. Platinum and iridum plugs are just designed to last longer between tune-ups of your average car. IMHO they have no business in a performance engine.yes they do and its safer to run ngk coppers cause they act like a fuse,A copper plug will fail before a cylinder fries,a plat or irid plug will handle much higher heat and alot more det and something else will let loose first.

That is exactly what happened to mine, six plugs in a row.
What kind of compression are you guys running? Also fuel. Unfortunately I can't offer any help, due to no knowledge. Just tryin to pick up on some. Thanks.

I am 195psi compression and 93 pump gas. No extended full throttle runs for me.
