building up a backup SJ...impeller question...

Ok so I am building up a backup SJ for me to use if mine goes to :):):):) and the gf to use whenever she wants.

The plan is either a bone stock 701 or 760 with a bpipe.

What impeller would be good for that? Trying to keep things on the cheap so I want to start looking for a good deal as soon as I can.

Thanks,
Trevor

im quoting this so we can check back in a year and see which ski is your backup then:cool2:

oh ya,about the prop, solas 13/16 swirl can be had pretty cheap these days or if you really want to get cheap a stock b1 impeller is a big improvment over stock.

I was thinking backup meant that you would only ride it when your good ski failed. Leave it as stock as you can. Save the money to repair your good ski if it fails.

One thing I've learned about backup ski's... If it's not exactly like your current ski, you're not going to like it. If you don't like it, then you won't ride it unless you're forced to.
