SX/SXi/SXi Pro Mastercraft Wet Jet with 701???

I have a 95 Mastercraft Wet Jet, I was told it has a 701 yamaha in it with a 44 mm Mikuni. Will that carb work on my 750 sx. Is that the sbn 44 mm that everyone is tellimg me to get????

I called the Wet Jet parts guy that owns the right to the company now, and he said its a 44, but I don't know. Would this be a good one to put on my ski, Do I have to change anything?

I've read that the 701cc wejets came with both the 44 & 46mm carbs.
Either 44 or 46, it will work on your 750. I'm pretty sure you'll need an aftermarket intake manifold to use the carb. They sell on here or ebay for about $50 or so. The OEM kawa one is for a keihn (sp?) carb and has different bolt spacing for the carb base. You can use that wetjet flame arrester (air filter) also if it will fit under the hood.

Wanna sell the wetjet motor or the wetjet intake manifold? you know, since it won't fit you're kawa 750 and all,,,,,,?? :popworm:

Depending on which wetjet model you could have either a 44 (Duo) or 46 (Kraze). If it's a 44, you can buy the correct manifold needed to fit it to the Kaw. If it's a 46 the bolt spacing is wider than a 44, and you'll have difficulty finding a manifold it will bolt to.

Yeah I am goin to sell everything else, i'm pulling it all tommorow, I'm not sure on the time on it but the dealer told me it had good compression. The starter was out on it and they took it on trade and I know the dealer so I bought it for parts, but I sold my sj so I just need the carb. What all do u need?
