09 bolt-on build and glass work

Tore down the 09 after riding about 4 tanks worth. Here are some pics. Will post more as I continue. For right now I have reinforced the interior with 1208 biaxial one layer over the entire inside with a smaller strip over just the bond line on top of some resin mixed with mirco beads. I ground down the green goo from yami before I started. Also filled the DUMB ASS yamaha holes they leave in for inserting foam. Also installed the new style xfts. Seems like I did 34 1/2" from the front of the tray. Had to trim the tips of the holds to make them fit right. More to come. Also installed the head with 35 cc domes and started the carb work tonight and am halfway done, will continue on thursday.

The later hulls are a bit easier to reinforce because there are no ribs to grind down.

Now is the perfect time to send me your flywheel and reduction nozzle. :)

As soon as we get through the free ride next weekend (around the 20th) they will be heading your way!
