motorhead what are talking about?

Too narrow you can't get the stance it's a wanna be x-2 ! I am not knocking trying new thing's and this is only my opinion, but the same result could be done by screwing a 6x6 block of wood under a sj handlepole. lol Like I said just my opinion.

Trust me I would be the first person to bitch about the tray (reason I sold my FX) but the SJ it only took about 10mins to get used to....even with no footholds. When you are not focusing on fighting the pole you can move around the tray effortlessly, which was my biggest complaint about the fx. I have logged less then 10mins on a SJ my entire life, before last friday...first 5mins out I was shredding super tight turns, flicking the ski around, and TRYING to get some small side stabs going. You really have to try the 24/7 system, the stance and control is so much more aggressive then the X2. It is really really awesome. That said the wide tray mod would probably complete the perfect ski package for me. (Pre-Daytona winter project there) Hoping to get the SJ-2 out in the surf this weekend.

time has already proven this to be an overlooked and ignored steering system. but just like everything else- a little time and some open minds and whats old is new again.

that block of wood thing could work. I just would not look as nice.
