So I hear that this intake grate is the best to get, you loose a few mphs, but gain excellent hookup in the chop. I just got my completely stock SJ yesterday and I already got the bug to mod it. I noticed that I get a lot of cavitation before I pre-load a wave. So hopefully this will solve my problem. So am I okay in buying this grate?

And does anyone know where to buy one? Do we have any good vendors on here? I looked in the classifieds but some of those listings are from last year, maybe someone has one in their closet collecting dust?

I love mine but I have never ran one on a stock ski to see how well they work. They are quite popular so there is lots of competition for used ones when they do come up. I'd post an ad in the want to buy and see if someone contacts you directly.

Be warned about price though, the last few that have sold on here have been close to new price so if you don't want to wait you might just be better to buy new. I paid $120 shipped for my last slightly used one where they are selling new for $140 plus shipping and handling from most retailers. Anything under $120 is a deal.
