I'm wanting to install some holds in my new SJ. But I'm not sure what kind I want to install. I put some kickers in my sxr this winter, there pretty cool but I want to do something different in the SJ Figured I'd ask the people who know best, you the people of the X

I put Watercraft Factory in my current build, and that's what I put in my old hull after ripping out some 24/7's. Rickters are good too, I have never felt very secure in either of Waterdawg's, XFT's are mounted too far back for me but they have some other models now, and I've never ridden a ski with any of Blowsions so no opinion on those.

Your best bet is to go to a freeride and see how you fit in different models, but remember you should always pad/turf them to match your feet.

Im running Watercraft Factory holds in my new ski and I am Very happy with them, I dont know what kind of holds were in my old ski, but they killed the tops of my feet. I dont have any problems with the WCF Holds. They are price is pretty good on them as well.

btw, I use 1" padding in my Watercraft Factory holds plus 2 layers of turf on top, very cushy and snug with wrestling shoes.

Just remeber the cheap foothold seem to be harder to install. If u wanna have a easy probem free install go with any of the quality brands stated above

I have to vote for tom21's. Cheap. Quality. Plush. Easily adjusted for individual preferences. Easy install.

It seems like a lot of you on here have footholds. Are they a must have? I just started riding this year. Should I wait for winter to install them or are they needed right away?
