Who has ground the 122 out to a 144? I have been considering just opening it up to match my wear ring and epoxying the voids but I don't know where I would run into issues. I know it will be thin but I can't imagine it would be to thin in any important/structural areas...has anybody done it? Is it even possible? I would like to save the work of putting in a 144 shoe over summer, be able to use my scoop grate but get rid of the tiny bit of cavitation I am getting from the smaller shoe.

Yep... Thought the pics could give you some ideas.:sad6: Just get a superjet:mischievous:
LOL I guess I could just reshape the pump cavity but that doesn't solve my pump shoe issue. I have a superjet but that pump shoe fits fine.:wavey:

just replace the shoe and do it right that way you wont have any issues . mine is going on 14 years now and other than wearing out a couple of shafts and impellers (from use ) its going strong
