cornered market???

Am I missing something, or has Hydroturf got the market cornered on mats? Just with a brief search I only found jettrim and sano, both with very weak websites. So it's kind of hard to tell what exactly they offer as competitors. So what is stopping someone from producing this material in mass and selling from the east coast? Granted I know nothing of how it's produced, machinery, expense, difficulty, etc... (And I am not bashing Hydroturf in anyway shape or form, I ordered b-stock from them yesterday) just curious!

well their new underpad is simply waterslid foam pads. End of season go to your local waterpark and I'm sure you get them to give you a few that they'd probably be throwing out anyway.

Not sure that is what you'd want.

that comment just cracks me up.
Why? Also I'm talking about the "plush" white pad, not the old style pad....

This is all it is... http://www.watersportsproducts.com/foamslidemats.htm
*note link might not be the same but my local waterpark uses the same EXACT stuff as HT. By summers end they toss that stuff out and is good enough to use on a ski.

Mod on a budget.
