both shafts are toast!!!

Both shafts are toast. At the point they couple together they are worn and now have play in them (the splines I think they are called). The bearings in the intermediate and the pump seem to be good. Smooth with no play. I am assuming the turd that owned this before me put it back together and did not align anything. Not one shim! What do you think? The alignment had to be off??

What is the best option for repair? Going by the search function Atlantic Jet Sports is the way to go. Any other options???

Going to get new shafts and redo the bearings while I am at it.

What kind of ski is it? Atlantic Jet sports is the way to go. Your going to want to do the pump bearings & mid shaft carrier too. Does it run ok?

2000 superjet. B pipe, 62t cylinder at 85 mm
The ski ran good except a vibration off idle. I bet this cures it once I get it all lined up right.

I was in the process of putting in a single 46 and atp mani. I pulled the engine to just give everything a look.

What is the “mid shaft carrier”??

Every superjet I've seen run at idle with the hood off shakes like crazy until you give it some gas.

What about with the hood on? The other skis in the group are no where close to what mine does! Mine is like a bulldozer!

Just read this again. My issue is right off idle. Give it gas and it turns into a bulldozer then smoothes back out. I would guess I have a 300 rpm range that is bad. At idle it does the regular shaking around.
