300/440/550 Need help with 650sx losing idle

The boat runs great except it won't hold an idle. Picked it up used last spring. Just put a set of rings in it. Milled the stock head 30 thousandths. Oil blockoff. Primer kit. Other than that it's stock. It will re-fire when you pump the primer once. When it's on the stand it will sound like it's leaning out. It picks up a few extra revs and falls on its face. In the water as long as you give it little blips it does fine. But an idle would be pretty cool. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Check low jet for restriction if not then try raising the float arm height 30 thou.

So it sounds like it may be a good idea to pul the carb, tear it down and clean it out too. Kinda silly that I never thought of that. Not sure where the float arm is yet, but I'll find it.

Nicely done on the info. She idles like a champ. There was a fair amount of play between the float arm and where the needle needed to seat. The thirty thousandths dialed it perfect. Going to recheck jetting next weekend at the lake.
