Weird B Pipe chamber ??

Picked this up today and noticed the weird bend on the end...was thsi for a 650...or ...??

+ the dent underneath ??

650 chamber negative. That is a 701 fx1 chamber. Basically the same as a normal 701 limited chamber. The dent is to clear the motor mount in fx1... I use one in my js550. They were angled a bit farther in because of a narrower hull so the exit was bent a bit to angle straight towards the waterbox.

However it has been cut and shortened. You should take it somewhere to get the length back.

That's just an (old looking) 701 chamber. It's definitely not an FX-1 or a 650 chamber. Maybe it's an old 701 mod chamber, or a modified 701 limited chamber.

Old mod chambers came with that cut/weld directly from FPP.

Why would you say its not an FX1 chamber?

And yes I know they cut them from the factory, but I did not believe they did this for the fx1.

It just doesn't look anywhere close to an FX-1 chamber. Maybe you had an FX-1 with a 701 Superjet pipe on it?

My chamber looks EXACTLY same...as far as im aware its just an older chamber.

It was on a Square with a 701 engine so I assume it would fit there, i want to put it on a RN tho...

I know a RN chamber fit in my square, I would be surprised if that camber doesn't fit a RN.

it's a mod for a 701 square nose.fpp angled them for the old boats to fit the waterbox better.
will fit a rn as well and sometimes is desirable depending on the waterbox you're running.
dent is for mount clearance.
