How bad is bad on a prop?

Our seadoo was having some cavitation or something last summer and we just took apart the pump area to find a very slightly chewed up leading edge on the prop. Its really not too bad but could it cause any problems? What about the wear ring? Its chewed up alot more and has a few pits but still sits close to the prop. Would you guys recommend a new wear ring and maybe a top loader? I know its a sit down, but i use it to wakeboard if i dont feel like bringing out the boat, plus a few friends ride it while im on my 550. Would be nice if it would outrun my 550 like it should!

Any dings in the prop can cause cavitation. The wear ring needs to be smooth and have close tolerance with the prop. It sounds like you should replace the wear ring, and at least send your prop out for repair. A top loader won't cure cavitation.
